Space comic: 2

I did this one on a bit larger scale (about 14x4.5) and therefore, I had to scan it in pieces. I then took the pieces on my computer and combined them in PS. Hope yall like it! Thanks for lookin' in! God Bless.

New Space Comic Strip pt2 (old color)

Here is the same strip again. I just thought I would give a go at trying to make it look a little like an old sunday strip in the paper or an old adventure comic. I just used some photoshop tricks (a little benday dot action) that Evan "Doc" Shaner was nice enough to share with me via e-mail. Muchas Gracias, Sir!

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I never really intended for this one to be colored, but I kinda like the finished product. Thanks for stoppin over and God Bless!

New Space Comic Strip

Here is a comic I threw together a few days ago. I had been sketchin' a handful of characters for a while and decided to go ahead with the first one. I am not really sure what to call it yet, or what the names of the characters are. Thanks for looking! Hopefully there are more on the way! God bless!

Queen Amidala/Nefertiti

Just finished this lil' piece the other day. It is part of a Star Wars themed thing I thought up that deals with some ancient art. I thought it would be cool if the scenes and characters from "a long time ago..." were depicted in ancient styles. I'm not sure how many more are coming, but I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out.

Here is the original, an ancient sculpture of the famous Queen of Egypt, Nefertiti. What better piece to get inspiration from when trying to depict Queen Amidala from the Star Wars prequel trilogy? I looked at the original and compared it to a picture in profile of Natalie Portman as Amidala. I then sketched it out in my sketch book, used my ink pen, and took a photo. All that was left was to DIGITALLY COLOR! whew...

I attempted to make it look like some archaeological log page... or something like that. Anywho, that's the final image. At least I think it is haha, Thanks for stopping by. God bless!

A is for Abominable Snowman

Lately, just for kicks and some practice, I've been doing a little work on a series of ink drawings that I color in Photoshop. Here is the first completed one:
Here is a scan of the original ink drawing. I believe I used a size 1 and size 4 brush and a Faber Castell PITT pen for touch ups.
Thanks again for stoppin' in to check on the latest stuff. God bless ya and have a great rest of the day!
