A good while back, I guess it was during the summer, I was just sketching out some drawings on newsprint for practice and saw a picture in a magazine of actress Rachel McAdams and thought, "Hmm, I could make her Catwoman!" So that is what I did.

A Boy and His Lobster
Here are some pictures I took with my cell phone of a drawing I just finished a few weeks back.
First, I saw a great picture by Murillo. The Beggar Boy was painted in 1650.
I was inspired to draw the poor fellah in the beautiful picture, but wanted to add my own weird twist.
First, I added a lobster...
then, the city and the levitating friar from Murillo's The Angel's Kitchen
and...(drumroll)... a poor cell phone picture of the finished piece!
