Coloring for Guy Gilchrist: Animal from The Muppets!

"Animal" Drawn by Guy Gilchrist & colored by Philip A. Buck

Hey, everybody! Check out this awesome drawing by Guy Gilchrist that I got to color. Animal in action! haha! You can buy prints of this & a bunch of other drawings by Guy & colored by me at Oklahoma City Comic Con this weekend (which means, right now!) You can also get them signed by the cartoonist himself! Pretty cool if you ask me. So if you're in that area, search out his booth at the con, if you want to see some awesome stuff. Who would've thought I'd get to color The Muppets for the very person who co-created The Muppets comic strip?!

Well, I just wanted to let you all know about the convention prints. I'll be posting more of them in the days ahead. Until next time, thanks for stopping in & God bless!

Hey, pals! Here's some of the latest color work I had the pleasure of doing for the amazing cartoonist, Guy Gilchrist. A Doctor Who & Kermit the Frog Mashup! He wanted it colored so he could make prints to sign at conventions. What a cool idea! Below, you can see the original black & white drawing that he sent me. Isn't it great?!

Wow, I never would have expected that I'd be coloring a Kermit the Frog drawing for THE cartoonist of The Muppets comic strip & Muppet Babies! This was loads of fun! Be on the look out for this print & Guy's table at your next comic convention & be sure to check out his work HERE. Thanks for checking in! God Bless!

The Cool Cats of 5 Minute Marvels + Kermit

Hi. How are you? Oh man, thanks for asking, I'm great! I had the happy fortune of being the the 900th follower on twitter of Tim from 5 Minute Marvels and they invited me to suggest something for them to draw with me! What? You don't know what 5MM is? Well my interweb friends, it is an awesome site where Tim and his talented daughters (ages 6 and 8) draw five minute drawings of characters. They also invite anyone else to join them and send in their drawings. Yep, it is pretty cool. Check the website out for more info.

Anyways, they let me pick what they drew next and I chose Kermit the frog (I drew him as seen in Muppet Treasure Island.)  Their drawings are splendid! This is my sketch of the amazing amphibean. I hope you guys visit their site and maybe take part in the fun with them as well. Have a great night and God bless!
